Emergency SOS

SOS is a service separate from the seven protection modules and one of OMNIA’s core personal-safety features. The user manually starts the procedure, remains in control of sending actions and can optionally document the emergency locally with audio or video + audio for up to 3 minutes.

The feature is designed to be immediate in an emergency without becoming covert recording or automatic content sharing.

Emergency contacts

Up to three configurable numbers. OMNIA prepares the SMS for the selected recipients; sending remains under the user’s control.

Video + audio or audio only

Recording starts only during a manually initiated SOS and only after explicit consent and the required Android camera and/or microphone permissions.

SOS Recordings

Evidence stays on the device and is available inside SOS. The user can open it, voluntarily share it or delete it.

Visible notification and STOP

While recording, OMNIA shows active status, a countdown and a STOP control. Maximum duration is 3 minutes.

Separate WhatsApp sharing

WhatsApp sharing is a separate choice: OMNIA prepares the content and the user freely chooses the person or group.

Home shortcut

When supported by the Android launcher, the user can add an SOS shortcut to the Home screen for fast access to OMNIA.
